ICT- 560 Introduction To Media In Education And Training (2.00 cr.)

Use of media in education and training. Includes the production of media and instructional materials in print, video, computer-bases and multimedia formats.

In this course the following competencies will be addressed and achieved:

  • Experiment and analyze human computer interaction technology trends.

  • Moderate the discussion and implementation of technologies utilizing sound analysis of potential risks and likely benefits.

 

 

 

ITM- 561 Workstation And Server (3.00 cr.)

Installing, configuring, and administering Microsoft Windows utilizing the current commercial version of the product for both workstations and servers. Helps prepare students for two of the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification examinations.

In this course the following competencies will be addressed and achieved:

  • Perform computer network planning, design, and production on an enterprise level.

  • Experiment and analyze human computer interaction technology trends.

  • Moderate the discussion and implementation of technologies utilizing sound analysis of potential risks and likely benefits.

 

 

 

 

ITM-641 Scalable Internetworks

One of three core courses for preparation for the Cisco CCNP and CCDP professional certifiction. Students will learn how to build scalable routable networks. Students are required to pass the associated Cisco certification examination.

In this course the following competencies will be addressed and achieved: 

  • Experiment and analyze human computer interaction technology trends.

  • Integrate web and electronic business technologies to create optimal user experiences.

 

 

 

ITM 643- Multi Layer Switched Networks  (3.00 cr.)

Concepts from communication networks. LAN, MAN, WAN networks. Introduction to LAN switching, ATM and virtual LANS. Designing and integration of LAN switching virtual networking and ATM into today's networks.
